Avantika University
India’s first and one-of-its-kind design-centered university, Avantika University is situated in Ujjain in the state of Madhya Pradesh. Its campus is also known as the campus of MIT Pune in MP. The university offers design-centric courses in diverse fields such as fashion designing, product designing, UX/UI designing, interaction designing, space designing, engineering and architecture. Avantika University houses different colleges of design, architecture and engineering in its campus. Its design college, better known as MIT College of Design is among the top design colleges in India. Here, students can pursue B. Des (Bachelor in Design) and M. Des (Master in Design) in various specializations.
The college offers 4-year B.Des course in specializations such as Industrial Design (Product Design and Space Design), Communication Design (Graphics Design) and Digital Experience Design (UX/UI Design). After completing B.Des, students can also pursue 2-year M.Des in specializations such as Industrial Design and Communication Design.
The college follows a unique academic model consisting of four types of undergraduate program: Foundation, Discipline Core, Specialization Track and Integrated Experience. It aims at first building the concepts of students and then allowing them to choose their area of specialization.
