Tribes Studies are humans closest to the nature. They tend to be in tune with their surroundings, sometimes, living nomadic life and those, who are away from the technological, urban and sophisticated lives we live!
Tribes are one of our best way of learning about evolution, about how humans tend to adjust, about how there is harmony b/w humans and nature. Since ages, historians have been studying tribes closely and intensively, to study about human adaptation and old ways of living. Life sprang on earth years ago, since then, people have always wanted to know what were the origins of human race, how did they start living, what did they do, etc.
Tribes have their own faiths and believes. Their own cultures are their biggest beliefs. Many tribal people come across as superstitious people, believing in life after death, practising rituals and traditional dances, worshiping the sun and rain Gods.
One of the striking features about tribes is that they do a lot of body adornment. Commonly found out that these people believe that they do not look beautiful and thus, tend to do a lot of body adornment in the form of tattooing, body piercings, hairdos, body painting, head masks, etc. A lot of these body decorations are inspired by the flora and fauna found in their surroundings. These people find things in their surroundings beautiful and use these or parts of them for their adornment. Their are tribes such as the ‘Papua’ tribe which also followed cannibalism. They are not to be judged, as to what is right and wrong, they are just our way of tracing our origins back. And some form of tribes exist in all parts of the world!
